(image) Bhubaneswar: Three persons were killed and five injured in a road accident at Rathia Chhack near Jaraka in Jajpur on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Masim Jha, Maulana Ajaz, Mohammad Nana. The incident took place during the wee hours on Tuesday, when the Bolero heading from Bhadrak met with an accident, killing three persons on the spot.

The five injured including the driver of the Bolero have been admitted to Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital.

The police have begun its investigation in the case and are suspecting that a truck had hit the Bolero in its rear.
