Gajapati/Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted raids on houses and offices of three government officials in Gajapati and Bhubaneswar on charges of amassing disproportionate assets.

The anti-graft officials of Gajapati division conducted simultaneous raids on residences of two constables identified as Ranjit Limma and Tanuj Sabat. While Ranjit is the president of district Havildar and Constable Association, Tanuj is employed at the Police Reserve Inspector office in Paralakhemundi. The duo hails from Paralakhemundi area, reports said.

Searches were on at five different places including residences of both the constables, when last reports came in.

In a separate incident, a team of vigilance officials conducted simultaneous raids at the office and houses of Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) accounts officer Nalini Prusty in Bhubaneswar.

The sleuths searched Prusty's houses and office in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Chhatrapur and Kendrapara. "The exact amount of disproportionate unearthed will be known after the searches are completed," informed a senior official.
