Sambalpur: Three Christmas revellers were crushed under a truck when the motorbike they were riding rammed against the vehicle near Ainthapalli on a state highway in Sambalpur district today, police said. In another mishap, at least 12 passengers of a bus were injured, one of them seriously, when the vehicle rolled down a road near Sirol under Titlagarh police station of Bolangir district, police said.

The Titlagarh bound bus from Khariar was carrying 45 people when it hit a tree apparently due to poor visibility caused by fog and then jumped off the road at least three to four times. The seriously injured was shifted to the district headquarters hospital at Bolangir while others being treated at a hospital at Titlagarh. said.
