Tenure of Nalco CMD extended till Dec

Bhubaneswar: State-run aluminium producer Nalco today said tenure of its Chairman-cum-Managing Director, B L Bagra, has been extended up to December 2011. Bagra, who joined Nalco as Director (Finance) in 2007, was given additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director in February after the mines ministry suspended its CMD A K Srivastava based on CBI charges of taking bribe.

Bagra was instrumental in creating VISION 2020 for the company and a long-term corporate plan, a company release said. Besides, he has successfully initiated various growth oriented greenfield and brownfield projects, it said.
