Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate police today intensified security arrangements for Rajya Sabha member, Pyari Mohan Mohapatra after the office of the deputy commissionor of police, Bhubaneswar, received a telephonic threat call to the senior BJD leader. The caller has threatened over phone to hurl bombs at the house  of the parliamentarian at Saheed Nagar locality.

Meanwhile, the commissioner claimed that it has been able to identify the caller who hailed from Rajsunakhala area in Nayagarh district. The DG of state police has said that appropriate action would be taken against the caller.

But Pyari Mohan Mohapatra when contacted siad that he was not all worried about te threatening call.
