Political circles in Odisha are abuzz with discussions about Shreemayee Mishra’s next political move, following her suspension from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD). Speculation is rife that the young leader may be exploring new opportunities possibly with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

During her visits to various Durga Puja pandals in Bhubaneswar, Shreemayee was seen alongside Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, BJP MLA Upasana Mohapatra, and senior party leader Jagannath Pradhan. Cryptic Reply Adds Fuel to Speculation

When asked by reporters about her future political plans, Shreemayee tactfully avoided a direct answer. With a calm smile, she remarked,

“Right now, there’s festive fever in Odisha. All I can say is that I’m with the party of Maa (Goddess).”

Her ambiguous response has only deepened the intrigue was it a spiritual remark, or a subtle hint at her next political home?

Suspended from BJD for anti-party activities 

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) had suspended Shreemayee Mishra, the General Secretary of its Women's Affairs wing, on charges of anti-party activities. The action, announced through an office order issued on 23th September which also included the suspension of two other district-level leaders, Subas Chandra Sai, Ex-Block President, Kaptipada, and Prabir Chandra Sai, Ex-District Secretary, Mayurbhanj.

 However, Mishra’s name has drawn the sharpest attention.
