Bhubaneswar: In another incident of suspected Maoists violence, four vehicles and one motorbike were burnt down last night in Kalahandi district. The vehicles belong to Shiv Shankar Construction Company.
 
Sources said around 30 people including 10 women allegedly raided the camp of the company at the road construction site under Miangapadar police limits and set two JCBs, two tractors and one motorbike afire.
 
The miscreants left posters of banned Bansadhara-Gumusuru-Nagabali division of CPI(Maoists) on the spot which warned the company to stop road construction work and protested against exploitation of workers.
 
But the police have not yet confirmed the deed as that of the Maoists and have revealed that investigation is on in the area.
 
The incident meanwhile has caused panic in the area, added sources.
