Bijoy claimed that aside from his mansion in Nayapalli locality, Surya Patra owned another house near the DAV school in Unit-8 area. The second house has been registered in the name of Biplab Patra, son of Surya Patra. Surya has not given any indication about his second house in his property list.

The opposition parties have allged that not only Bikram Arukh or Surya Narayan Patra but also several ministers in the Naveen Pattanaik have tampered with their property lists. As it seems now it has opened the proverbial pandora`s box and only time can tell what would be its political fallout.
