Surrendered woman Maoist allege torture by top ultras

Arati Patra — a woman Maoist has voiced dissent against top Maoist leaders Sabyasachi Panda and Azad, brining allegations of both physical and mental torture against them. 

She is one of those women rebels who have expressed their desire to return to the mainstream after being tortured by seniors.

A few days back, another woman Maoist while surrendering before Puri police revealed how women cadre were being tortured and charged the ultras of outraging the modesty of the women members; bring allegations against Sabyasachi Panda, the top Maoist leader.

However, Panda has refuted all the allegations against him. 

According to surrendering women Maoists, ultras have forsaken their ideology; as torture on women members has been a regular feature in the camps after the Red rebels from Chattissgarh cadre joined in.
