Bhubaneswar: International sand artist Sudarshan Pattnaik has been selected for the 6-day World Championship of Sand Sculpting scheduled to be held in Atlanta City, USA from June 11. 
 
Nearly twenty renowned sculptors around the world will participate in this championship.  
 
“I am very happy to get the invitation to represent India in this championship. I will try my best to create a beautiful sculpture,” said Pattnaik after receiving an invitation from the assistant director of the event. 
 
Recently, the 36 year old artist has won the Danish grand prize at 2nd Copenhagen International Sand Sculpture Festival 2013, Denmark and Moscow choice prize at Russia.
 
So far Pattnaik has represented India in more than 50 international sand sculpture championships & won many prizes.
