Following the conclusion of extensive field verification, more than 17 lakh women have been successfully enrolled in Odisha’s Subhadra Yojana, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
In her address in the Odisha Assembly on Saturday, the DY CM stated that following detailed field verification and scrutiny of household records, 17,83,251 women were officially added to the Subhadra Yojana scheme, while 9,36,283 applications were rejected.
She stated that the verification exercise involved cross-checking of households to ensure accuracy and prevent duplication.
Financial Assistance Disbursed To Over 97 Lakh Women
Pravati Parida, who also holds the Women and Child Development portfolio, informed that over 97 lakh (97,51,479) women have already received financial assistance under the scheme, encompassing all three instalments.
Meanwhile, over 1 crore beneficiaries (1,03,89,801) have received only the first instalment, whereas 1,01,92,724 beneficiaries have received the second instalment, according to the Deputy Chief Minister.
