Subhadra Yojana: Odisha govt announces fresh date to release assistance for new beneficiaries
Financial assistance under Subhadra Yojana will be disbursed to the new beneficiaries in Odisha on January 22. Earlier, it had been announced that financial assistance under the BJP government’s flagship programme would be released by January 18.
However, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida informed that financial assistance under Subhadra Yojana will now be provided on January 22.
A total of 1,78,398 new beneficiaries will receive the Subhadra assistance under the scheme.
"The Subhadra Yojana assistance amount will be provided to the newly added beneficiaries on January 22 instead of January 18," informed the Deputy Chief Minister's office in X (earlier known as Twitter).

"Those beneficiaries whose two or three installments were pending will have them cleared at once, while those who have been newly included will receive one instalment," Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida had earlier stated.
As per sources, the disbursement is aimed at ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is left out due to procedural or verification-related delays.
