Subhadra Yojana assistance amounting to over Rs 315 crore has been credited to the bank accounts of more than 4.57 lakh beneficiaries across Odisha on Thursday, January 22.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi formally disbursed the financial assistance at a state-level programme held at 11 am at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) campus in Bhubaneswar. The funds were transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts under the direct benefit transfer mechanism.
The disbursal covered both newly enrolled and previously excluded beneficiaries, expanding the reach of the welfare scheme.
New Beneficiaries Receive First Instalment
Among those benefited were 1,78,398 newly added women beneficiaries, who received the first instalment of Subhadra assistance, marking their inclusion under the scheme.

Earlier Excluded Beneficiaries Covered
In addition, 2,55,265 beneficiaries who had been excluded from the first and second instalments were also credited with their due assistance as part of the latest transfer, officials said.
