Students Of Utkal University Stage Protest Over Various Demands

Bhubaneswar: A students' stir ensued in the campus of Utkal University today in Bhubaneswar as students gheraoed office of Vice-Chancellor demanding fulfilment of a slew of demands confirming to campus reformation.

Their demand included simultaneous examinations for different departments of the University, revocation of fee hike in different heads and proper entry and exit points to the university.

Students demanded that because of the construction of a new flyover in front of the existing entry gate, students and staffs including the faculty members are having a hard time.

They alleged that they are forced to enter through the wrong way of the road following which they are being vulnerable to accidents.
