Bhubaneswar: BJD MLA Arun Sahoo found himself in a spot today for humiliating North Orissa University's Student Union President, Tushar Nayak who alleged that the legislator made him do sit-ups.

Nayak vented his anger against such misbehaviour in his Facebook post today.

“We had gone to meet some BJCD leaders at Baripada Circuit house and we were completely ignorant of the fact that BJD's observer of Mayurbhanj district, Arun Sahoo was also coming. When we tried to bring various problems of the university to the legislator’s notice, he misbehaved and asked me to do 50 sit-ups,” said Nayak.

Nayak further said that Sahoo also threw his mobile phone at him and made him stand outside.

“After calling me inside, Arun Sahoo asked me do 50 sit-ups, and later, I was made to do 20 more. If senior leaders of the party behave in such a way what will be the future of students like us?” Nayak said.

Citing that he is was busy in a public meeting, Sahoo declined to comment on the matter after OTV tried to contact him over phone.
