State must be proactive to curb fertiliser price rise: Jena

Bhubaneswar: The minister of State for Chemicals and Fertlisers Srikant Jena on Wednesday said that the state government must be proactive to curb the fertilizer price rise in state. “The state government must inspect the situation and take proper step in this regard” Jena said.

Replying a letter of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik who urged the intervention of the Centre in the spurt of fertilizer prices in the state, Jena said the state must do the fertilizer stock verification with the dealers so that the farmers would be able to get it at normal and old prices.
