Berhampur: A two-day state level boxing championship for the senior, junior and sub junior for boys and girls from across the state began here on Monday.

Around 250 competitors, including 50 girls from across the state were participating in the tournament, organised by the Ganjam District Athletic Association (GDAA) here.

The pugilists, having qualified in this competition, will participate in the national level tournament, organizing committee secretary of the tournament Sibaram Patra said.
