New Delhi: State School and Mass Education Minister Pratap Jena on Thursday met Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Kapil Sibal and discussed various programmes concerning the education system in the state.
During the meeting, the state mass education minister informed the Union minister about the matching grant yet to be received from the Centre. In addition to it, the state education minister discussed about the recruitment of teachers in tribal dominated districts and setting up of Telegu schools in interior areas.
The Centre will, however, consider the state government’s proposal and grant funds after review, informed the Union Minister.

“The grants may be issued to the state, after state government’s proposal is reviewed,” said Sibal.
