Speeding truck kills 14-yr old, one injured

Jaypur: A 14-year old boy was killed and another boy injured by a speeding truck in a road accident at  the  irrigation colony here near Shiv temple.

While the speeding truck loaded with sand killed one on the accident site, the other boy had his bone in the left leg fractured.

The injured identified as Purna was first admitted into Jaypur Medical and later was taken to Koraput Medical in a special ambulance.

Purna is a tribal boy for whose medical expenses; sub-collector has arranged money from the Red Cross.

Reacting to the accident, mob blocked the road for a while and only came under control when police intervened.
