Special prosecutor to pursue murder cases of Dipu, Om

Cuttack: A special prosecutor will be appointed for the sensational murders of Om and Dipu, Police Commissioner YB Khurania has said.

Talking to newsmen here on Friday, Khurania said, “I will write to the state government to appoint a special prosecutor to fight the murder cases of the duo who were murdered by the arrested criminal brothers Sushil and Sushant Dhalasamant.”

The persons who were involved in the crime have been arrested, Khurania added.

Notably, the Dhalasamant brothers had killed their former aides Dipu and Om at a farm house in Cuttack and dumped their bodies in Jharkhand to destroy evidence.

Since 2000, both Dipu and Om were working as tender fixers for D-brothers. Sometimes they were also used as sharp shooters by their bosses.

Earlier, Commissionerate Police had deployed a special prosecutor for the murder of judo coach Brinachi.
