Bhubaneswar: In another turn to LPG dealer Pramod Routray murder case, the commissionerate of police arrested deceased's sister-in-law on Monday for her alleged involvement in the crime.

She will be produced before court today after medical examination, police said.

Police in the morning interrogated Sangita Mohapatra basing on information of other three accused- Pramod's wife, father-in-law and brother-in-law.

The trio arrested earlier was brought on 2-day remand for interrogation. Police made an enactment of the murder plot by the three accused. They will be produced in the court today as their remand period ended.

According to police, Pramod Routray, a gas distribution dealer of Laxmisagar area, forced her wife Trupti to indulge in sex with his friends to which Trupti opposed. Pramod tortured her mentally and physically following which Trupti was staying at her father's house.

On the fateful day, she visited her husband while the latter was in asleep. She mixed sleeping pills with soft drink and made him drink. Later, she strangulated him with her dupatta killing on the spot.

Then, taking the help of her father and brother, she disposed the body near the canal at Dearas.
