Bhubaneswar: Barely a week after the state government effected a major reshuffle of as many as 32 IPS officers, it transferred seven senior IPS officers on Saturday.

V Tyagrajan has been appointed as director of Biju Patnaik police training academy and Ritu Arora will take the charge as DIG- Police training. Under the new role, Asit Panigrahi will now be DIG- Police training.

Similarly SM Narwane has been posted as Director- Forensic lab while Pranabindu Acharya will take the charge as IG- Fire services & Home Guard.

YB Khurania has been given the charge of IG- crime branch and M Akshya as director, crime record bureau.
