Second data centre of National Data Repository to come up in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The Second data centre of the National Data Repository will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on August 4.
The announcement was done by the officials of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in a press conference today. The centre will be opened at Gothapatna in Bhubaneswar.
Earlier on June 28 last year, an Integrated Centralized Data Repository was started by the Government of India to preserve and promote the data related to petroleum exploration and production (E&P) sector.
The inauguration of the second data centre in the State Capital will help the students, researchers, academicians as well as various companies in the country as well as Odisha.
