Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Refusing to interfere in the Odisha High Court order in alleged violation of wildlife laws by Congress leader Lalatendu Vidyadhar Mohapatra and Samir Routray, the Supreme Court on Thursday asked to deposit Rs 2 lakh each which will be used for wildlife purposes.

A case was lodged against Lulu Mohapatra and Routray for alleged violation of wildlife laws by Angul DFO in 1991.

Earlier HC had quashed case. SC refused to interfere due to lapse of time.
