Sandhya Darshan at Adap Mandap today - Bahuda Yatra tomorrow

Keeping in view preparations for tomorrow’s ‘Bahuda Yatra’ are to be made and everybody has to gear up for the return journey of the presiding deities of Jagannath temple; the timing for Sandhya Darshan has been allotted till 8 PM in the evening for the devotees cutting across religions and sects.

 According to scriptures, with a single Sandhya Darshan at Adap Mandap, one can accrue more piety than 10 years of Lord’s darshan at the temple. Religious gurus of various sects and cults are in town to have Sandhya Darshan today and to be part of Bahuda Yatra tomorrow.

Meanwhile, local police have geared up for tomorrow. Special arrangements have been made to avoid any sought of untoward situations. One-way traffic arrangements have been made for the vehicles coming and moving out of Puri to ease vehicular movement. These apart, Close-circuit Television Cameras (CCTVs) have also been installed in the Bada Danda area.
