Bhubaneswar: International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture at Puri beach on Tuesday praying for the speedy recovery of Pakistani school girl Malala Yousufzai with a message "Get well soon" .

"I pray to God for her speedy recovery," said Sudarsan.

Pattnaik used three tons of sand to create the five feet high sand sculpture. He also used coloured sand on it.

Malala has been secretly flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK from Pakistan for medical treatment.
