Ruckus over death in guest house

Police recovered the dead body from room number 103 of the guest house and identified as Sobhagyabati Priyadarshini Pattnaik, who was working as a civil engineer in the private company in Paradip.

The deceased had come to Dhamra on March 19 and was staying at the room booked in the name of senior engineer Ranjan Pattnaik of that company, police said.

However, nothing was yet known about the circumstances under which she was killed. The body has marks on the back and her dupatta was tied to the fan. Police has arrested Ranjan Pattnaik in connection with the case.
