RSP officer receives National award for Technical writing

Gupta`s book "Alternative means of Iron Making", received the second prize with a cash award of Rs 51,000 and and a certificate of appreciation.

Gupta`s book was selected for second position amongst the 60 books received for the competition on technical writing in varied fields of interest.

In his book Gupta has talked about newer means of iron making that will ultimately take the steel industry forward and also reduce over dependence on coking coal for iron making process. The author has also mentioned the "finex" technology for iron making process and discussed its viability elaborately.

Gupta has been actively involved in promotion of Rajbhasha in his area of work and has received wide appreciation for his commitment to the cause.

Earlier, Gupta has bagged a number of National level awards for his creative ventures. He has got the distinction of winning the first prize for original writing in Hindi in the field of steel from the ministry of steel, government of India for four consecutive years since 2004-05.
