RSP bags Rajbhasha Gaurav Samman

Bhubaneswar: Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has bagged the Rajbhasha Gaurav Samman from the Bhartiya Rajbhasha Vikas Sansthaan, Dehradun, for its outstanding contribution in implementing Rajbhasha. The award was conferred during the Akhila Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sangosthi held at Madurai from October 12-14, RSP sources said today.

Narayan Pati, GM (TS and CSR) received the award from M Gopinathan, Former Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Antarashtriya Hindi Viswavidyalaya, Wardha.

G S Prasad, CEO, RSP has expressed his happiness over RSP receiving this recognition and said that steel plant would continue to work towards promoting and propagating the usage of the Rajbhasha in official work.

As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, RSP is promoting the use of Hindi as the official language in a big way.

Various cultural programmes, Rajbhasha competitions, awareness programmes and examinations for different levels of Proficiency courses in Hindi are being conducted by the Rajbhasha Vibhag of the plant at regular intervals so as to create a mindset amongst the employees to use Rajbhasha as the official language of communication.
