Rourkela: Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has achieved one-time saving of Rs 4.42 crores and recurring saving of Rs 10.30 crores through a novel Srujani creativity scheme aimed at enhancing performance

Srujani Creativity Scheme being implemented by the Steel Plant is based on the basic premise that the employees are the best persons to bring about improvements in the area in which they are working. Hence they are motivated to think creatively about improving the systems and enhancing the performance of their respective units. For this they are being given awards in cash as well as token gifts, RSP sources said today.

The Plant on the other hand earns rich dividends by implementing these suggestions. It becomes a total win-win situation for both the organization and the employees.
