According to sources, brokers have reportedly become active, taking advantage of the high demand for the December 9 clash. Special enclosure tickets, originally priced at Rs 6,000, are being sold for as much as Rs 10,000 by scalpers.

Similarly, tickets for the first and third galleries, priced at Rs 1,100, are being sold for Rs 6,000. Brokers are also offering discounts on bulk purchases, claiming that buying five tickets at a time can fetch better deals.

When the OTV team confronted a scalper, it was revealed that brokers earn nearly ₹500 in commission per ticket—suggesting a wider network involved in the black-marketing racket. In some cases, seat allocations are reportedly being decided in advance for buyers. The scalper also shared specific locations where the tickets could be collected, further indicating the organised nature of the operation.

The official ticket counter opened today, offering 10,000 tickets, but the presence of brokers and scalpers is raising concerns among authorities, who are monitoring the situation closely.
