Cuttack: Three unknown persons today snatched a bag containing Rs 3.64 lakh from the employees of a private firm at gun point here.
 
The incident happened at about 11.30 am near OMP (Odisha Military Bridge) overbridge under Chauliaganj when the cashier of the firm along with an accomplice was going to deposit the cash in a bank.
 
The police said two employees of Om Associates of Nuabazar were on the way to deposit the cash in a bank at Link Road when the motorcycle in which they were travelling was stopped by the looters who also came in another bike.
 
"Brandishing a pistol, one of them fired two bullets in the air while another snatched away the wads of notes. Then they escaped from the spot," Uttam Mishra said in the complaint.
