The recent spurt in diarrhoea cases in Sundargarh’s Rourkela has left the district administration on its toes.
As per reports, more than 1000 patients from Sundargarh district and even from the bordering States come to the outdoor of the RGH to see the doctors. But a shortage of doctors has made them resent.
“We have also sent her mobile phone seized from the hotel room to the State Forensic Science Laboratory in Bhubaneswar for the recovery of data. We have gathered some links connected to her death and we are analysing them,” said DSP Banita Majhi.
BJP leader Manmohan Samal said the state government has failed in various fronts and people are now discussing the failure.
As per initial reports, the youth has sustained bullet injury to his stomach. Following the firing incident, the youth was first rushed to Bisra Hospital and later shifted to the Rourkela government hospital.

The Assistant Collector’s body was found under mysterious circumstances in the pond of the Centurion Park under Plant Site Police limits in Rourkela on September 19 evening.
