The day-long protest which began at 6 am will continue till 4 pm in the rural parts of India on Friday where the protesters are seen picketing in front of all the Central government offices.

Acting on a tip-off about the bird smuggling, forest officials raided an area in Rourkela and on the borders of Jharkhand on Tuesday. They seized a large number of parrots which were being smuggled into other states for sale.
As per reports, the artisans in Rourkela are making a diya which has a width of 12-feet and height of 5.5 feet. An organisation, Smile Forever Foundation has taken the initiative to make the diya. It will hold 6500 litres of ghee. It is claimed to be the largest diya ever made in Odisha.
