Retired cop found dead in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: Body of retired police personnel was found under mysterious circumstances from the Inspection Bunglow (IB) premises in Nabarangpur district on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Premchandra Bag (62), a retired Assistant Sub-Inspector of police.

Though the exact reason behind the death of Bag is unclear, his body was found hanging at an isolated place inside the IB. According to sources, locals spotted the body hanging from a tree in the IB premises of the works department and alerted police.

On being informed police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post mortem. Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched in connection with the incident.
