The man then appeared to lose control as the two-wheeler got stuck in wet sand, with waves pulling him deeper into the water.

As the tide rose, several bystanders rushed forward and dragged both the scooter and the man out of the water. The youth escaped with minor injuries. The video quickly spread across social media platforms, highlighting a pattern and a form of ‘addiction’ for filming risky social media videos.

Minor Dies After Being Hit By Train During Reel Shoot

The beach stunt came barely a day after a tragic incident in the Puri district. A 17-year-old boy from Manglaghat lost his life on Tuesday after allegedly being hit by a train while shooting a video near Janakadeipur railway station.

Sources said the boy had accompanied his mother to the Dakshinakali Temple and was returning home when he stopped near the railway tracks to film a reel on his mobile phone. While recording, he reportedly stood too close to the line and was struck by a speeding train.

Eyewitnesses said the impact was severe, and the boy died on the spot. Local residents and railway personnel rushed to the site, and the Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body before sending it for post-mortem examination. Preliminary inquiry indicated that negligence during filming led to the fatal accident.
