Rahul Gandhi to visit State in August
Bhubaneswar: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will visit Odisha in August and address a public meeting in Bhubaneswar, PCC president Jayadev Jena informed OTV after meeting the Congress second-in command in New Delhi on Monday.
“Rahul Ji has assured me to visit State in August and address a public meeting in Bhubaneswar. Besides, he will also convene a media conference” Jayadev Jena said.
Jena met Gandhi scion in Delhi today and discussed over the party’s organizational affairs in the State.
Meanwhile, Odisha’s five leaders including MP Pradip Majhi, Prasad Harichandan, Ranjib Biswal, Debasish Patnaik and Sulochana Das attended the Party’s media conclave headed by Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. The aim of the conclave is to convey the messages of Congress party to the people through social networking sites.
“Such camp has been arranged by Rahul Gandhi to counter Narendra Modi’s attempt to spread message through social network sites” Pradip Majhi said.
