Puri Srimandir
In a significant development, the much-awaited queue system for 'darshan' will be introduced for the devotees visiting Srimandir in Puri after the holy month of 'Kartika'.
Additionally, the counting and documentation of the treasures stored in the Ratna Bhandar of the Jagannath temple will also commence.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan announced the development on Friday.
The Minister stated that necessary administrative measures have already been initiated in preparation for these arrangements.

He further informed that special arrangements have been made for the upcoming 'Panchuka' (the last five days of Kartika month). During these five days, devotees will be allowed to have disciplined and orderly darshan inside the temple. Entry will be permitted only through the 'Singhadwar' (main entrance), while devotees will exit through the other three gates.
"Considering the rush at Srimandir during the five days of Panchuka, the temple administration has made an arrangement that the devotees will make an entry into the temple through Singhadwar and exit through the other three gates. I think that there will be smooth darshan of the devotees and there will not be much rush. Effort is being made to have disciplined darshan of the devotees. After the month of Kartika, the queue system for 'darshan' will be introduced for the devotees, and the counting and documentation of the treasures stored in the Ratna Bhandar will commence. We have already taken necessary administrative measures in this regard," said Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.
