Bhubaneswar: In an interim order, the Orissa High Court on Thursday stayed execution of the directive of the Higher Education to stop four colleges allegedly involved in +2 paper leak from admitting students this academic year.

The court said legality of these educational institutions in admitting students depends on the outcome of the probe of the question paper leak case.

Notably, Sambalpur-based Sandilya Collge of Science and Commerce, Rourkela's Chaitanya College of Education, Rajgangpur's Om Maa Saraswati Institute of Science and Technology and Junagarh-based Lambodar College of Scince had filed a petition in the court challenging the Higher Education's order asking them not to admit students this academic year.

The next hearing of the case will be on June 18.

The process for admission into various streams of Plus II in colleges under Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) started on May 27 and the last date for submission of application form is June 12.
