Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar repairs complete, inventory SOP in progress: ASI to Orissa High Court

According to the affidavit filed by the ASI, the repair work of the Ratna Bhandar has been completed successfully.

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has submitted an affidavit before the Orissa High Court in connection with the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) related to the repair of the Ratna Bhandar of Puri Srimandir and the inventory of its valuables.
 
According to the affidavit filed by the ASI, the repair work of the Ratna Bhandar has been completed successfully. It has further been stated that after the completion of the repair work, the Ratna Bhandar has been formally handed over to the temple administration.

The court has also been informed that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for conducting the inventory of the valuables is currently being prepared.

During the hearing, the Advocate General apprised the High Court that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure that the inventory process is carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure.

"ASI has made it clear that the repair work of the Ratna Bhandar has been completed successfully, and it has been handed over to the temple administration. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for conducting the inventory of the valuables is currently being prepared. The Advocate General apprised the Court that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure that the inventory process is carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure. It will be revealed in the next hearing of the court," said Anup Kumar Mohapatra, the petitioner's lawyer.
