Puri Srimandir pictures go viral on social media, again!
Puri: Barely five days after a photo of the Puri Jagannath temple’s interior made rounds on social media, more pictures of the inside of the Srimandir went viral on social media triggering sharp concerns over the security at the 12th century shrine.
According to sources, photos of Bhitar Bedha, Koili Baikuntha present inside the temple premises were found posted on the facebook account of one Hitesh Sunani of Gujarat.
Hitesh is reportedly working as a Computer Hardware & Networking professional in Surat.
However, it is yet to be ascertained as to how Sunani managed to click the photos inside the temple premises or where he got the pictures from, despite a ban imposed by the authorities.
It may be mentioned here that the Srimandir administration has strictly imposed a ban on the entry of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets into the temple premises.
Meanwhile, the incident has trigged resentment among the devotees and people of Odisha who have accused the administration of being callous in maintaining strict security arrangements inside the temple.
Earlier on November 4, a picture of the 12th century shrine’s interior was found circulating on social media through facebook account of one Megha Luthra, an IndiGo Airlines crew who stays in Bengaluru.
On October 9, interior pictures of the Srimandir were uploaded by a Sub-Inspector of Seabeach police station in Puri following which the cop was suspended within a couple of hours after the news caught media attention.
