Pritam wins MUREX Global Fashion Award

“WON the MUREX-Youth Ispirezione 2012/13 last evening..still can’t believe it, Can’t stop thanking God for all that he has bestowed till date, this is really BIG….,” these are the first words of a jubilant Panda.

“Dad-Mom thats truely for u..Thnx to every one who has been supporting me directly and indirectly..LUV u ALL..stay blessed,” Panda continued in a social networking website.

The 17-yr old Balasore lad was nominated under two categories – “Youth Ispirazione-2012-13” and “Best Woman’s wear-Foreign Designer label” of which he won the former. Panda received the award from Italian film star Andrew Symons and former Italian Miss World Famesa Lior.

The award ceremony was held at Palazzo Caracciolo Napoli hotel in Naples, one of Italy’s most vibrant cities lies on the coast south of Rome. The award is in its 12th year and is one of the most prestigious awards in the world of fashion and retail industry.

In November 2010, as the youngest Indian he had begged the World Chopard Young Entrepreneur Award (WCYEA) 2010 for art and design segment at a global award ceremony held in Dubai. Same year he was also conferred with an Honourary Masters degree by Ecole Normale Superieure University, the finest and leading university of France for his profound skill and contribution in the field of art and design.
