“She (the septuagenarian) had been suffering from ovarian cancer, and chemotherapy was previously conducted on her. She had also undergone an operation at a hospital last month. The operation was successful,” the deceased’s son Sambit stated.

“However, subsequently, she had a bacterial infection in her lungs. She had returned home yesterday, after the infection was cleared. Perhaps, she got choked while vomiting in the morning and succumbed,” Sambit Mohapatra expressed to mediapersons.
