Paradip:Hundreds of anti-Posco activists today forcefully stopped laying down of pipelines in the proposed mega-steel plant site in the Chinkia panchayat while five political parties have declared to support the movement. The anti-project have said that they would not allow the coastal road work of the company to begiu under any circumstances.

The anti-project activists led by the Posco Pratirodh Sangram Samiti joined in a rally which terminated Vocalist Point. CPI, CPI(M) and Forward Block members too participatd in the rally. Later, a large meeting ws organised in the area. The administration too went on the backfoot to avoid any untoward incident.
