Bhubaneswar: Political heavyweights from different parties have intensified poll campaigning for six Lok Sabha and 41 Assembly seats in Odisha which will be going to polls in the fourth phase on April 29.

In a marathon campaigning in Bhadrak today, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari took part in the Vijay Sankalp Samavesh of the BJP and urged the public to vote for a "double engine (BJP in State & BJP at Centre)" government. While addressing a public meeting, Gadkari said "Attach Modiji's engine in Odisha's bullet train of development and the State will become number 1 in the country."

In Rajkanika, BJP national vice-president and the Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate Baijayant 'Jay' Panda held a massive roadshow. Apart from Panda, BJP's Aul MLA candidate Dologobinda Nayak, Ollywood star Babushan  Mohanty, local party leaders and hundreds of party workers took part in the roadshow which started from Neulgadia area and culminated at Balisahi in Pradhanpada Panchayat.

Congress too intensified its poll campaigning as OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik held roadshows in different panchayats of Bhandaripokhari Assembly constituency today. OPCC vice-president Arya Kumar Gyanendra and hundreds of supporters took part in the roadshow.
