Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, the Commissionerate Police on Monday unearthed properties worth Rs 130 crore owned by Artha Tatwa group.
 
The properties include 234 acres of land involving as many as 353 plots which spread over six districts such as Khurda, Ganjam, Angul, Puri, Balasore and Bhadrakh, police sources said.
 
Investigations have further revealed that the company owned 118 acres of land in Khurda district alone while the figure is 100 acres in Ganjam district.
 
“Going by the investments, plot/flats the group owns, the value of total assets will be not less than Rs 130 crore,” Bhubaneswar DCP Nitinjeet Singh said.
 
The Commissionerate Police is hopeful to extract valuable information from the bigwigs regarding their alleged link with arrested AT group CMD Pradeep Sethi during interrogation on Tuesday and Wednesday.
 
Police on Saturday summoned as many as 22 people, including Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) Secretary, a few media house owners and a film producer for interrogation.
 
In a related development, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Odisha Crime Branch on Monday raided a 22-acre farmhouse owned by the Seashore Group at Barala village near Satyabadi in Puri district and after completing the legal formalities, the farmhouse was sealed.
