Plus II results on May 29: Min
Bhubaneswar: Results of Plus II examination conducted by the Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will be published on May 29, higher education minister Badrinarayan Patra said here on Friday.
"The results of examinations for Plus II courses including vocational, regular, ex-regular and correspondence will be published at 11 am on May 29," the minister told reporters.
According to officials, result booklets will be available at the CHSE headquarters in Bhubaneswar and zonal offices at Berhampur, Sambalpur and Baripada. The aspiring candidates however can get their results on the internet from 12 noon onwards on the same day.
Around 2.8 lakh students had appeared in the examination in all three streams.
Authorities of junior colleges can collect certificates and mark sheets of students from respective zonal offices on May 29 itself, the minister added.
From this year onwards, the Higher Education department has also decided to do away with the top-20 list of candidates. However, the results of students securing more than 90 per cent would be published after their copies were rechecked.
Meanwhile, the state government has decided to begin the application process for Plus III admission from June 1.
According to the department of higher education (DHE) notification, both online and offline applications for Plus III will be available from June 1 to June 15. While the first selection list will be published on June 26, admission of the selected candidates will be done on July 1. Classes are slated to start on July 22.
