Party workers up in arms against BJD MLA Byomkesh Ray

Bhadrak: BJD workers in Bhadrak have registered their resentment against party MLA Byomkesh Ray alleging anti-party activities by the legislator. The protesting workers met party’s Bhadrak district president, Arjun Charan Sethi and lodged a complaint in this regard today.

BJD party workers and leaders from 6 panchayats – Jashipur, Nuagaon, Kherang, Jaleswarpur,Nalgunda and Mato under the Chandbali constituency have filed the complaint against the legislator. The workers alleged that the leader is engaging in anti-party activities and even exploiting party members.

“The legislator is exploiting the workers of the party for which we have come to complain. We don’t want him as our leader during the upcoming elections,” Bikash Parida, a BJD party worker alleged.

Another party worker from the region Nityananda Sethi said, “We want MLA Byomkesh Ray to be removed from Chandbali constituency.”

On the other hand, Arjun Charan Sethi said “These are minor differences between workers and leaders. It is not something to fear. Everyone will unite, and help us win the upcoming elections.”
