Paralakhemundi Court Reserves Order on Arati Bail Plea

Paralakhemundi: The Paralakhemundi District and Sessions Judge today reserved its verdict on the bail application of Maoist leader Arati Majhi and would pronounce the judgment on Thursday.

The Maoist leader, an active member of the Bansdhara division of CPI(Maoist) was allegedly involved in several attacks conducted by the ultras including the landmine blast near Andhari, the attack on the forest department beating the house at Panigonda, torching of a government bus at Raipanga and one mobile tower at Birikota.

The abductors of Italian national Paolo Bosusco had demanded the release of Arati Majhi to secure the freedom of the Puri-based tour operator.
