Pandemonium in Assembly over dal scam

(image) Bhubaneswar: Pandemonium prevailed in the State Assembly on the first day of the second phase of the Budget session as opposition Congress on Monday disrupted the proceedings of the House over dal scam.

The members of Congress virtually paralysed the business of the House during the question hour by shouting slogans and demonstrating in the well of the House by displaying banners. They also demanded the State Government to put forth the important information on the dal scam within 48 hours using the Special Mention.

The Assembly began as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, paid homage to Late former Jajpur MLA Niranjan Jena.
